Although Damien has just completed his first year of business school, he already has a wealth of life experience. He decided to use his talent for maths to help students preparing for the HEC entrance exam by becoming a certified teacher. Damien has also managed a soccer team for 12-14 year-olds and has been active in the scouting movement for 7 years, where he was a scout leader.

Damien is part of a team of French students working on a project to set up a bakery in Guatemala in partnership with Guatemalan students. Thanks to the arrival of French bakers on site, the bakery trains disadvantaged people in the bakery trade and helps them earn a decent living.

Damien’s passion for social entrepreneurship stems from his belief that a financially self-sufficient project can generate a more lasting social impact than a traditional humanitarian project.
