Désiré created his Yowli Burundi association to address the high prevalence of HIV among young people in his community, and to promote female leadership. Armed with the voice of youth to reach young people, he leads his fight through awareness-raising, training and workshops. This is how he engages people and invites them to take up the challenge of a responsible, healthy and committed youth for a prosperous future of their country.

Desire created his association, YOWLI Burundi, to fight against the high prevalence of HIV among young people in his community, as well as to promote women’s leadership.
