Rouguiatou Gano is a very dynamic woman with the ambition to break through in her field. Her only motivation is to instill a new vision and hope in the next generation.
YouthMap Casamance is a program that once again offers her this opportunity, which she has not failed to seize through the training of trainers, in order to effectively share her experiences and best practices.
“I find that the lessons are beneficial for us and for the young people we are going to train.
Before, I couldn’t make eye contact with the person I was talking to, and with the exercises we had to do on the lesson: listening, I learned that it’s really important, because it gives the person I’m talking to confidence. Today, I’m really starting to apply it with my children and those around me.
A former Passeport Pour la Réussite facilitator, Rouguiatou testifies to the impact of this program on the lives of the learners she had to train at the time, and to the convincing results with YouthMap Casamance.
I had to give the lesson on first impressions with the EPQ program, and the application of good practices from the lesson led the leaders of my organization OFAD NAFOORE to transfer me to Missira Koutael, a maraboutic village, to raise awareness about excision. So I can say that it’s thanks to my good impression that I got this esteem.
